Christmas Eve Services

Friday December 24, 2021

UCC Missoula welcomes all to worship with us this Christmas Eve.

We will have in-person and livestream options depending on service times.

To keep everyone healthy, we require masks to be worn by everyone under age 2 at each service. Childcare is not available, but children are welcome to attend each service. (All services are designed to run under one hour.)

Please RSVP HERE to let us know which service (or services) you plan to attend.

4:00 p.m. Angels’ Christmas Eve. All are welcome to attend this Family-themed Christmas Eve worship service focused on the lessons of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love heralded by the Christmas Angels. Music, crafts and stories will make this worship time festive and bright. This service will NOT be livestreamed.

7:00 p.m. Lessons and Carols. Experience the arc and promise of Christmas from Genesis through John. This is the Christmas “main event” with choir, candles, and all the trimmings. Per COVID guidelines, we will have extra seating available in our narthex (lobby) area and will stream the main portion of the service to two other locations in the church. At the end of the Lessons, all will be invited to regather outside to sing Silent Night and bear the Light of Christ into the world. This service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

10:00 p.m. Fireside Christmas Eve. This is our simplest, quietest, Christmas Eve experience. A prayer, a promise, a story, a song; we will welcome the Christ-child under the stars around our firepit (or in our Fireside Room if the weather is inclement.) This service will NOT be livestreamed.
