Janice Springer

Rev. Janice Springer has been on staff since 2006, though she is only on-site in the summer when she lives in an off-grid log cabin in the mountains. The rest of the year she lives in Iowa. She earned an M.Div. from  Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis and was ordained in 1983.  She has served as pastor in 4 churches and as an interim pastor in 2 others. She has a thank-you-God passion for her family, for worship (designing it, leading it,participating in it), for words (She has written two books and way too many sermons), and for community, especially University Congregational UCC. Janice’s spouse, Susan, is also a UCC pastor. Their family includes 3 children and their spouses, 4 grandchildren and 2 dogs.
